Vampire Survivors
There exist tales that don't exist.
The year 2021, Rural Italy, there lived an evil person named Bisconte Draculó, whose many evil magics created a bad world filled with famine and suffering. It's now up to the members of the Belpaese family to end his reign of terror and return good food to the table.
Vampire Survivors is currently a time survival game with minimalistic gameplay and roguelite elements.
There's no place where to hide, all you can do is try to survive a cursed night and get as much gold as possible for the next survivor, before Death inevitably puts an end to your struggles.

Starting tips:
- Take your time to grab gems and items, they won't disappear.
- Get just two or three offensive weapons, but focus on leveling them up one at a time.
- Armor and Luck are good starting power-ups to spend money on.

- What's different from the Steam version?
The Steam version is receiving regular content updates, while the web version on Itch is to consider pretty much like a demo. - Is it possible to transfer the save file to the Steam version?
No, there are plans to look into it but it's highly unlikely it will happen.

I will buy this on release if you put it on GOG. Even as an InDev [GOG's equivalent to Early Access], which I usually wouldn't. Great stuff. (Or release full version here to buy with regular updates.)
Hi, I'm not able to run this on linux. it says launcher.sh not found. Could you kindly look into it? Thanks, I don't have access to a windows machine atm and I'm dearly missing this game.
I think I might have found the most efficient way of getting upgrades, needing only 62330 gold. First, get the Amount upgrade, then max out Growth first, followed by Cooldown. You can either upgrade Luck or Armor first and then go to the other slot to upgrade this. Then, max out Might, and the rest can be in any order, except for Max Health, which is last.
I want this game on Nintendo switch now. Thank you.
This game is absolutely awesome, love it! Only a little feedback: I would shorten the animation that appears after opening the chest. Because when one plays the game the whole day like me, the total amount of time spent waiting like this is really big :D
You can actually skip that animation with the esc key.

I’d played a couple of games inspired by this – so I thought I ought to check out the original. And wow, I can see why it’s inspired so many people! It’s rare to create a new genre and captivate people so; I’m really impressed by how simple yet unique the concept is.

Amazing game
Soooo, I made it to thirty minutes, and then a Red Reaper came at me at unimaginable speeds and I died instantly. I'm guessing that's the longest you can play at the moment?
I did the same as well. I assume it's to get you to try new areas, items, characters, and upgrades
wdym at the moment its the games length after that you get a victory screen,you max out your upgrades at around 25 minutes so playing for more than half an hour would be useless
It's possible to kill the Reaper and I think you can unlock something but it's insanely difficult. I haven't managed it yet. :(
Edit: I'm not sure about the itch version though. I think the unlock is only on Steam version. Sorry!

There is an itch.io app, you could try downloading that and play it through there (never tried it so no guarantees). Or try a different web browser.
You can also try the free game Magic Survival for Android, it is just as good of a game and was the inspiration for this one (the VS devs even say so in one of their update posts on Steam). Magic Survival will be ported to iOS soon as well.

I playing 3 days, today all my progress deleted. WHY!? I play demo on smart phone because I haven't PC, I want buy this game. Can I save a progress on my phone????
Most likely your mobile browser is configured to erase cookies and/or cache automatically every few days, and the game progress was saved in one of those two ways (I'm not affirming this, only hypothesizing it). Check your browser's privacy settings.
Don't buy the game on mobile yet by the way, it has been abandoned by the developers because it was written in an outdated game engine. They will most likely re-launch the mobile version in the future. In the mean time you can play Magic Survival for Android, which was the inspiration for Vampire Survivors (the VS devs even say so in one of their update posts on Steam). Magic Survival will be ported to iOS soon as well.

I really enjoyed this demo, but without transferring data, I kind of feel pretty demotivated to buy the full version and redo all of my progress. I would highly suggest importing data from this version if possible.
